Following the announcement from the Coronavirus briefing, we have made the decision to postpone CHILLCON Sheffield to a later date. This was not an easy decision to make, however the health and wellbeing of our visitors, traders, staff and volunteers come first.
For more details please read on.
Please note, that the show is no longer taking place on Saturday 28th March 2020, however we are looking for an alternative date later on in the year. Please stay tuned for updates on our social media.
So what does this mean for attendees, traders and game hosts?
Attendees: All tickets already purchased (including SWAG bags) will be automatically rolled over to the new date, so there will be no need to purchase a new ticket. Any new tickets purchased from today will be for the new date.
Traders: All traders that are booked in for the original date will be automatically moved over to the new date with no need to re-book. More details will be emailed to the traders booked into the show later today.
Game Hosts: any clubs or representatives who had planned to host a game will be automatically moved over to the new date with no need to re-book. More details will be emailed to the game hosts booked into the show later today.
Deep Cut Studio Orders – Deep Cut have very kindly offered to ship customers’ orders out to them directly FREE of charge, so if you have placed an order to pick up at the show, don’t panic it will be on its way to you, if you have any concerns please contact Deep Cut Studios directly.
All activities such as the painting competition, ‘Hobby Clinic’ and bring and buy will still be at the show in August.
We do understand this may be frustrating and may impact some of you. This decision has not been made lightly. We all look forward to seeing you on Saturday 1st August. With the new date being in August, we will not be running CHILLCON Derby this year as we normally run that in September. However all being well, both shows will be back next year and business as usual.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email: [email protected] This will be the best way to get in contact.
