CHILLCON introduced the painting competition back in 2018, since then it's grown in popularity and proved to be a great success and its always a pleasure to see a fantastic spread of entries. Fancy your chances? It's open to everyone no matter where you may put your painting skill.

We have five different categories that you can enter, you can only enter one piece per category. Under 16's are more then welcome to participate, we recently removed this category as there wasn't many entries, however we will still judge them separately. The open category will be judged by the public via a live voting system on the day.

We've teamed up with Dan from 'The Lions Tower' to bring you some awesome custom trophies to win - exclusively to CHILLCON. Those amongst you who have been with us for a while, will remember our very first show model and mascot - 'The Spud' well, Dan has brought this back to life in different forms for each category! WE'VE LISTEND
After our 2022 show we listened to your feedback and we have introduced some new things for our 2023 show:
Finalist Badge: You all asked for more structure to our awards, so we've decided to go for 'Finalist Badges' rather than 1st, 2nd and 3rd place - again we can trial this to see how it goes.
Entry Badge: We wanted everyone to walk away with something, we're always blown away with all the entries, so we're looking into having a different design each year for a collection of exclusive pin badges. -
HOW TO ENTER & RULES
The painting competition is free to enter, it's all part of the show. To enter follow these simple steps:
Judges will begin to judge entries at 3:00pm and winners announced at 3:30pm and collection starts.
Fill in your submission
cards. Entries are between
10am to 12pm
Once you're in, head over
to the painting competition stand
We like to keep things simple at CHILLCON, we do have a few guidelines for the competition:

No more than one entry per category

If you're entering a unit, please keep it to 5 models max

Any dioramas can be no larger than 6" x 6"

We can store your storage boxes, however they need to be labelled with your name

Models must be fully based.

The competition is open to everyone, the public, volunteers, game hosts and traders.
